Trained at Santa Cruz Community Television and Berkeley Community Media, I’ve helped produce documentaries for such organizations as Paper Tiger Television.  You can view some of my work below and also visit my YouTube channel and Blip Channel.

Pedalpalooza is one of the largest bicycle festivals in North America, organized entirely by volunteers and features over a hundred events around Portland, Oregon.  I created this film for the 2007 festival by editing together my colleagues’ footage of previous years and combining with music to make a music video advertisement that became very popular and has high exposure on YouTube.

Standing with Palestine was produced by Paper Tiger Television.  The film “looks at the growing grassroots movement in the United States in support of the Palestinian people and against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Through interviews with activists, the video shows how many Americans are no longer accepting the traditional views and official policies that have contributed to, if not caused, the worsening situation in the Middle East.”   My production covered activists on US campuses who were building a campaign, based on the Divestment campaigns in the 1980′’s against Apartheid South Africa, to force Universities to withdraw their investments from companies that contribute to and support the Israeli Occupation.

We Interrupt This Empire was “a collaborative work by many of the Bay Area’s independent video activists which documents the direct actions that shut down the financial district of San Francisco in the weeks following the United States’ invasion of Iraq. With the audio backdrop including the live broadcasts of SF Indymedia’s Enemy Combatant Radio and the SFPD’s tactical communications that were picked up by police scanners, the documentary takes a look at the diverse show of resistance from the streets of San Francisco as well as providing a critique of the coporate media coverage of the war and exploring such issues as the Military Industrial Complex, attacks on civil liberties, and the United States’ current imperialist drive.”  I contributed research for this film.  You can view a 5 minute preview here.
